A middle-class American male with a job can attract a Russian mail order wife with a beauty and grace he could never find at home.
Russian mail order wives are now a step up or marrying up for even the best educated and wealthiest of Americans. The Web has simplified the process of winning a woman who is younger, taller, prettier, smarter, sexier, and better-educated than you can attract at home.
The girl next door can now live anywhere on the planet - from Moscow to Beijing to Manila.
Although I believe this to be the golden age of email order brides - and not a way for nerdy or cruel adult males to exploit disadvantaged or compliant females - I believe the window will be closing within 5 to 10 years.
Reasons why:
1. Oil
Governments lie when it comes to oil reserves, peak oil, and future prices for gasoline. We can't know how high costs will go.
Electrical energy can be produced for your house or electric car from photo voltaic, wind, or geothermal resources, but jets require gasoline. Thousands of pounds of fuel.
If oil prices triple or more, which is a distinct prospect, global travel could turn out to be prohibitedly high-priced for the average man.
2. International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005 (IMBRA)
The International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005 (IMBRA) involves background checks on American men planning to file immigrant or fiancee visa petitions for foreign women - if they were introduced through a marriage agency.
Marriage agencies with over 50% U.S. clients are exempt from IMBRA.
An International Marriage Broker (IMB) is an agent or agency - U.S. or foreign based - that provides matchmaking or social referrals connecting U.S. citizens/permanent residents and foreign nationals for a fee.
Allegedly to protect foreign brides after the high profile murder of Anastasia King, all it does is prevent American men from petitioning the foreign fiancee of choice.
IMBs Must:
- examine U.S. sex offender public registries for information on the U.S. clients
- collect criminal and marital background information on the American client, including how prior marriages ended
- provide this information to the foreign woman in her native language
- provide foreign clients with a government produced pamphlet detailing her legal rights in the U.S.
- obtain the foreign client's signed consent to give her personal information to the U.S. client
- limit of 2 fiance(e) visa petitions with at least 2 years between filings
All of these restrictions apply to IMB prearranged matches, so there are numerous ways around the law.
Just don't assume this will be the last piece of insane legislation to limit freedom of American citizens.
Anastasia King is not the lone woman to fall victim to an evil and sinister spouse. If this is so vital for foreign fiancees, why not make a law that applies to all women?
American men who want to find a foreign bride are now treated as second-class citizens.
No state investigates American men for disclosure to American women before a marriage license is issued. And there does exist that annoying Constitution (what's still enforced).
Noble intentions often create terrible laws. IMBRA is a poster child for unnecessary and useless regulations.
If gay marriage becomes law and opens same-sex spouses to immigration benefits, you can expect Congress to make it exceptionally difficult for anyone to bring a spouse home.
Find your Russian, Ukrainian, or Latvian mail order wife before it turns into an impracticable ordeal.
3. American Men Still a Catch
For many foreign women, American husbands are nevertheless considered a superior catch and a favorable match. Go figure.
I'm not certain if I am pleased or frightened.
For whatever reason, thousands of foreign women consider American men as better husband material.
After a divorce, the Internet lets a man meet a stunningly beautiful woman of the right age, occupation, and culture before initiating contact.
My recommendations:
For more youthful men, women from Russia, the Ukraine, and the former Soviet Republics, are the sexiest and most beautiful females on the planet.
Only contact women who meet all of your superficial requirements - age, beauty, education. You will have to meet in person to see if the chemistry is there and if love develops.
Caveat - examine the age differences. For Russian women, a 10 to 15 year age difference should not be an issue. A larger age difference could be risky.
For older or more conventional men, nothing tops the Philippines. Filipinas are the most devout, family oriented women I have ever lived among.
Age differences are less of an issue in the Philippines. A Filipina will stay married as long as she can. While a Vice-Consul in Manila, I approved visas for wives 50+ years younger than their American husbands.
For men who get pensions or Social Security, I would consider living in the Philippines with a young spouse. Her country could be a better place to reside. And a "fixed income" in the P.I. is a beautiful thing.
Golden Age of International Dating and eMail Order Brides:
I believe the window for winning your mail order wife will shut down within 5 to 10 years. Take action before costs and added government regulations further restrict your freedom.
The social stock of American males will never be higher.
International travel will never be this cheap again.
For the reasons mentioned, you will in no way be able to appeal to women of current mail order bride excellence ever again.
Before governments and busybodies once again interfere in the course of love, marriage, and family, seize your perfect mail order wife.
Dating, romance, and marriage will be changed forever.
You can begin your quest for the perfect bride at Russian Mail Order Wife.
