My Ancestors' Stories

Tobacco string in the tobacco barn? vicinity of Barranquitas? Puerto Rico (LOC)

The Lamm family came from England, not Germany. Originally Lamb. I traced ancestors back to the 1690s when they arrived in North Carolina - I believe in Elizabeth City. The first arrivals were shipbuilders, as was my late father. Most now reside or trace their family to Wilson County (tobacco country).
